Performance Accountability

Procedure Change
Effective in 2012 performance bonds will no longer be collected prior to provincial and PSL competitions.

Failure to meet the established expectations as outlined in the technical package, rules and regulations or circulations and postings pertaining to the competition may result in a discipline hearing, fines or suspension of players and coaches from any and all soccer events including competition at the local level.

Performance related post event fines may be issued for a variety of offenses including, but not limited to:

  • not having appropriate representation at pre-event meetings
  • default or withdrawal from an event/game
  • failure to adhere to established rules
  • inappropriate conduct, on or off the field
  • withdrawal after the entry deadline.

Members are accountable for the conduct of their competing team(s).  As such, when fines have been assessed the member organization is accountable for payment. Members are required to pay the fine immediately upon notice on behalf of the offending team.  Failure to do so may impact "good standing" and participation in future events for all teams, categories and age divisions of the member organization until such time as the fee is paid.
