Soccer development in Canada
*         FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and next year's FIFA Women's World Cup will have an impact lasting well beyond the tournaments themselves
*         This competition serves as a showcase for the future international stars of women's soccer, with the best often proving they are ready for the bigger competition just one year later
*         There will be more girls playing this sport as a result of this tournament being here; maybe some more of the top athletes will choose this over other sports
