Dear Presidents and Executive Directors,
The International Football Association Board (IFAB), at its Annual General Meeting on 1 March 2014, approved the modifications to the interpretation of ‘Law 4 – the Players’ Equipment’ specifying the provisions by which male and female players can now wear head covers.
The modifications are in accordance with previous directives issued by the Canadian Soccer Association and FIFA regarding this matter.
Thank you for your continued implementation of this policy and your assistance in ensuring that soccer is accessible to all Canadians.
