SSA would like to share our volunteer resources with you!

2013-08-21

Our volunteers within the soccer community do amazing work, would you like to recognize their acheivements?

The Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA) are constantly striving to develop and recognize all the volunteers within our soccer community who give their time to the sport we all love. We have a number of resources that we would like to share with our Member Organizations to encourage the recruitment and development of volunteers.

One of those resources is the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal, any Canadian citizen who is a current or former long-term resident of Saskatchewan is eligible for nomination for the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal. Nominations cannot be accepted for sitting members of Parliament or the Legislature or members of the judiciary who still hold office. Posthumous nominations are not accepted. Organizations are not eligible, only individuals.

Any individual or group may submit nominations. The Saskatchewan Honours Advisory Council recommends recipients based entirely on the information submitted with the nomination.
