Success with Volunteers in Inter-generational Communities with Brenda Robinson

Target Audience: MO Boards and Volunteers responsible for volunteer recruitment & retention who are eager to transform their work with volunteers.

This session will help Member Organizations develop a better understanding of generational differences, provide approaches to help grow and foster volunteers in your organization, and how to break the gaps between the generations of our volunteers.

It will also look at the needs of coaches & team personnel, those essential for soccer to thrive, and how to keep them engaged and contributing longer.

“Brenda Robinson effectively addresses one of the most significant challenges in which all soccer organizers are faced with – volunteer recruitment and retention!

Her presentation will equip you with valuable insights and tips leading to a better understanding of how to tap into our potential volunteer base, how to best work with those in different generations, and how to effectively show appreciation that is meaningful to each generation which leads to better retention.

I have attended other generational presentations but this was by far the best one I have encountered. I highly recommend this presentation for anyone in the position of recruiting, mentoring, and rewarding volunteers as well as anyone interested in gaining a better generational understanding to better equip them in their professional or personal lives.”
- Amanda Probe, Exec. Dir. SYSI

Bylaw Consultation Details
On Sept. 4, the Board requested amendments to the SSA Bylaws from Member Organizations with a deadline of Sept. 24.  With no member submissions received by the deadline, we are looking to confirm interest in a consultation on the Board Proposed Amendments via a Zoom meeting in mid-November.

Members are still able to submit amendments for consideration, however, in order to allow for adequate consultation on the bylaws we would request your cooperation to submit any Members amendments by Oct. 31. Click here for the Amendment Template.

Please Email the completed template form to ea@sasksoccer.com by Oct. 31

This will allow us adequate time to confirm interest, schedule the date/time for the consult and circulate all amendments in advance.

FINAL DEADLINE FOR AMENDMENTS: As per SSA Bylaws, all proposals that members wish included for consideration at the Annual Meeting, March 21, 2020, must be submitted by no less than 90 days prior to the anniversary of the previous year’s meeting. To aid in consistency we have now set this as an annual deadline of December 15.
