Futsal Week Festivities To Include Men's National Team ID Camp

We are excited to have CanMNT Futsal Head Coach Kyt Selaidopoulos back in Saskatchewan this week. We have a busy week planned for Futsal, please see the flyer below for times of the different events. All events will take place at the SaskTel Sports Centre (150 Nelson Road). 

Futsal in Saskatchewan has grown in popularity over the past few years and we are excited to both the increased participation but also celebrate the achievements on a National stage with a Silver and Bronze medal at the last two Futsal Nationals in 2017 and 2018 respectively. In addition to the team achievements Saskatchewan athletes have excelled and caught the eye of the CanMNT Head Coach. 

Jay Tomchuk earned his first two CanMNT caps in February 2018 versus Costa Rica and more recently, Jay Tomchuk, Nikolas Baikas and Mitchell Bauche were called into CanMNT Training Camp in September 2018 (Gatineau, Quebec). 

This week there will be another CanMNT ID Camp where Head Coach Kyt Selaidopoulos will put the players through two training sessions before an Intra-Squad match on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 830-10pm. 

"With the qualifying tournament for Futsal World Cup 2020 getting closer by the day, this will be another opportunity for Saskatchewan players to showcase their abilities in front of Kyt.
