Membership Update
2019-02-05SSA received various New Membership and Change to Conditions of Membership applications which were brought forward to the Board at their February 2nd meeting. Below you will find the updated statuses of these applications.
Changes to Conditions of Membership
Congratulations to the following Members – their requested Conditions of Membership changes were approved for a probationary one year period by the SSA Board:
- Ginga Futebol Academy – approved to operate programming, as previously approved in their conditions, in the Saskatoon area.
- FC Regina – approved to offer Walking Soccer, Beach Soccer and Futsal
- Queen City United Soccer – approved to offer Adult Soccer
New Member Applications
Congratulations to Wynyard Soccer Club on being approved as a Regular Member for a probationary period of one year! Wynyard previously registered with Lanigan and District Soccer Association, and due to their growing numbers, recently decided that it was time to apply to become their own Member Organization. With an emphasis on fun and learning, and a goal of keeping children in their community active through sport, they will continue to participate with other SSA member in their area. Welcome Wynyard!
Falcons Soccer Inc. applied for Regular Membership and as directed by the Board, prior to a decision, SSA Staff will be initiating a feedback process with members. Falcons are applying to operate youth programming in Regina, and SSA staff will contact Member Organizations operating in the area to gain feedback for further consideration of the Board.
