SSA Staffing Update

We are very pleased to announce the addition of Steven Porter to the SSA Staff Team. Steven started in the newly created Executive Assistant position on a full time basis on January 2, 2019.

Steven recently completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology – Sport and Recreation Management degree, as well as a Business Diploma at the University of Regina. While completing his degree Steven earned numerous scholarships and awards and completed a practicum with the Saskatchewan Hockey Association as a Marketing, Communications and Special Events Intern. Most recently Steven was the Recreation Director for the Town of Shellbrook.

Steven will provide high level support to the Executive Director and Director of Soccer while providing support to both administrative and technical areas of SSA operations. Working out of our Regina office, Steven can be reached at 306 519-5757 or email ea@sasksoccer.com.
Expansion of Registrar Role to Include Special Projects
SSA is also pleased to share information about the enhanced capacity of the Registrar position. In addition to the responsibilities as the Registrar, Eden Rakochy's role has been expanded to include management of the Goalline Review and programming activities including leadership to Adult and Walking Soccer initiatives. As such, the title of the role has been updated and will be referred to as the Coordinator of Special Projects and Registrar.
