Re: CSA Club Licensing and Club Excellence Programs

Canada Soccer (CSA) is preparing to release their Club Licensing Program, a standards based program recognizing different categories of clubs and organizations across Canada. The Club Licensing Program aims to assist clubs, academies and associations across Canada in their growth and evolution, while identifying levels of sophistication and organizational capability. SSA is supportive of CSA and this national direction, providing feedback on documentation as requested.

In preparation for the release of this national program, SSA did not renew its membership with the Club Excellence Program in December of 2017. We thank Club Excellence for their partnership over the last two years. For those Member Organizations that were a part of the Club Excellence program, you've already taken steps to build capacity and enhance your organization in a number of critical areas. The knowledge you have gained and the standards you implemented will be transferable and assist you in transition to the CSA Club Licensing Program.

We will communicate information on the Club Licensing Program as it comes available. If you have any questions regarding this release, please contact:
