SSA Staffing Announcement - Registrar and Coordinator of Member Services

 

 

Doug Pederson, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA), today announced the appointment of Eden Rakochy as Registrar, and Nicole Knecht as Coordinator of Member Services.

"We are excited to have the talents of Eden and Nicole in our member services department. They both bring very diverse skill sets and experience that will serve our members well." Pederson.

Eden comes to SSA with seven years of experience working in soccer, most recently as the Mini and Youth Program Coordinator for Saskatoon Youth Soccer, and previously as the Operations Coordinator for Saskatoon Adult Soccer. Eden's knowledge in Goalline, SSA's registration software, will be highly beneficial in her new role as Registrar. Eden is also involved in the soccer community as a coach and a NCCP Learning Facilitator. 

"I'm extremely excited about joining the Saskatchewan Soccer Association. I look forward to extending my career path with SSA. I believe my previous knowledge gained with youth and adult soccer will help advance the current Member Organizations within the SSA. I cannot wait to work with the outstanding SSA staff and get started!" Eden Rakochy.

Eden's first day will be August 14, 2017 and she will work out of the Saskatoon office. Her contact information will be circulated before her starting date. 

Nicole Knecht has accepted the role of Coordinator of Member Services.Nicole brings ten years' experience working in soccer to her new role as Member Services Coordinator.

For the past three year's Nicole has been SSA's Registrar and during this time has been instrumental in the implementation of Goalline, SSA's provincial registration and sports management software.  Previous to joining the SSA team, Nicole was the Soccer Activity Coordinator for the Regina Soccer Association where she was responsible for league management, scheduling, tournament management, and various member services. Nicole has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a Major in Marketing, and has completed various levels of photography, you will often see her behind the camera at SSA events.

"I am excited to move into this new role and to continue my professional involvement in the sport I am most passionate about. I look forward to working alongside our team and membership to increase the quality of services offered, and to progress the game and its management within our province," Nicole Knecht.

Nicole will continue to work out the Regina Office, and will be managing both the Registrar and Coordinator of Member Services role until Eden starts in August.
