In conjunction with the international friendly, Saskatchewan Soccer Association will be delivering a series of events and encourage everyone to join us to celebrate the world’s game!

Youth Soccer Camp:

Saskatchewan Soccer Association is proud to be delivering a youth camp in celebration of this historic soccer event coming to the province.

Open to kids, ages 6 – 17, the camp will provide the opportunity to learn some new skills, have some fun, and make some new friends!

Delivered by skilled coaches and players, we aim to have kids come out and celebrate the world’s game.

Our youth participants will be training literally "across the field" from where Valencia CF and NY Cosmos will be practicing. 

This opportunity is open to all youth from around Saskatchewan!

IMPORTANT DETAILS: 

• Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are ANY people to park in the Innovation Park Parking Lots 
• People coming to the training sessions MUST park in Lots 7 and 8...NOT Lot 6 or Innovation place AND NOT ON THE STREET

Schedule of Events:
8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Participants - Ages 6 – 10
12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Participants – Ages 11 – 17 *** We encourage players, ages 11 - 17 to come early and watch the OPEN NY Cosmos practice @ the University of Regina Turf from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm!

SoccerFest in the Park:  

Join us for a party like no other!  As a build up to the international friendly and Red Cross celebrity match, featuring Saskatchewan’s two University female squads, Confederation Park and Evraz Place grounds will be the site for interactive games and challenges, an exhibit by the Saskatchewan Sport Hall of Fame, tasty eats, bouncy castles and so much more!

Come out and show your support for this historic sporting event in our province and connect with soccer fans from all over the prairies!

The event is free and open to the public and we strongly encourage everyone to join us… challenge someone to a hardest shot challenge or try juggling a ball, no matter the skill, there is something for everyone!

A great family event and one for any soccer fan!

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

• Runs from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and will be a come and go opportunity
• Location: Confederation Park (Beside new Mosaic Stadium)
• Open to the public, free to attend

On Tuesday, May 9th it was announced that Saskatchewan will play host to its first ever International Soccer Friendly this summer in the new Mosaic Stadium. The New York Cosmos from the North American Soccer League will face Valencia CF from Spain’s La Liga on the newly declared 'Soccer Day in Saskatchewan' on July 22.
