 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TIME CHANGE
In efforts to ensure there is adequate time to address all items on the agenda, the SSA is rescheduling the start time for the 2017 Annual General Meeting to 2:30 p.m.

Annual General Meeting Voting Rights
 
Regular Members:  
As per SSA Bylaws, in order to be considered in Good Standing and eligible to have a voice and a vote, the following three (3) requirements must be met by the deadlines specified:
  1. Returning Member Renewal forms must be completed and payment of the annual fee, along with any outstanding accounts must be received in the SSA Office by March 15, 2017.
  2. All past due invoices with the SSA MUST be paid in full as of noon March 17th
  3. Voting Delegate form MUST be completed by 2:05 pm March 18th
 
Reference: SSA Bylaws - Article V
5.2.3 A Regular Member shall have the following additional rights and privileges: 
a) To be notified of and have a voice and vote at all general meetings, provided it is in good standing as of noon on the last regular business day preceding said meeting;
b) for the purpose of 5.2.3 a), a Member shall be in good standing if all accounts payable by the Member to the SSA are current (not past due) and there are no other disciplinary sanctions against the Member that result in the Member being not in good standing;
 
ARTICLE XI
11.1 Voting Formula and Procedures
11.1.8 All voting delegates must be appointed by the Regular Member that they represent, and notice of their appointment, signed by a duly authorized representative of said Member, shall be filed with the Executive Director of the SSA at or before the Annual General Meeting or any Special General Meeting.
 
Preliminary Confirmation of Voting Numbers
 
Voting Numbers remain unconfirmed until Member Organizations complete all Bylaw expectations and the registration of delegates as noted above and until confirmed by the Chair at the opening Roll Call of the AGM.
