2017 Canada Soccer Active Start Soccer Fest Applications Now Open

Canada Soccer is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2017 Active Start Soccer Fest program. Community soccer club staff administrators, coaches and volunteers are encouraged to apply online today to bring a fun-filled event to your community club and to help grow the game across the country.

As Canada’s largest national grassroots soccer program, Active Start Soccer Fests have supported community soccer activity for over 20 seasons through the delivery of financial, promotional and technical resources to clubs from coast to coast to coast. With the festival schedule expected to fill-up quickly, submit your application early to secure your desired festival date.
 
In addition to the financial and technical support provided to all festival hosts, the program’s corporate partners enhance the festival events through the provision of giveaways, facilitation of appearances by Canadian National Team athletes, and the implementation of unique technical programming at select festivals.

About Canada Soccer's Active Start Soccer Fests
As a financial grant-based program, Canada Soccer’s Active Start Soccer Fests are designed to provide community soccer clubs with resources to host a soccer celebration in their community. To apply, club representatives simply complete an online application form capturing the key details of their event. Club hosts will receive a festival hosting package, which includes participation certificates, technical materials and a wide array of exciting promotional giveaways and samples from the program’s national sponsors. Clubs will be accepted to host a festival on behalf of Canada Soccer pending available space and approval of their respective Provincial / Territorial Soccer Association.
