Respect in Sport Annual Update

2016-12-29

In February of 2013, Respect in Sport (RiS) was mandated by Sask Sport as a requirement for all team personnel in our province.  RiS is an online educational program that assists team personnel in identifying abuse, bullying, harassment and neglect in sport.  Until they have completed this certification, Team Personnel are not eligible for any sanctioned activity (game, practice, etc.).

In the almost four years since the mandatory implementation, Saskatchewan Soccer has seen an encouraging average of 1,000 team personnel become certified annually.

Congratulations to the following organizations - 100% of their team personnel are certified with Respect in Sport.
  • Choiceland Soccer Club
  • Esterhazy Soccer
  • Grenfell Soccer Club
  • Ile a La Crosse Friendship Centre
  • JJ Soccer
  • La Loche Minor Sports
  • Lloydminster Drillers
  • Montmarte and District Soccer
  • Moose Jaw Soccer Association
  • Moose Mountain Soccer
  • Moosomin Soccer Association
  • Nipawin Indoor Soccer
  • Rocanville Soccer Club
  • Springside Soccer Club
  • Swift Current Soccer Association
  • Weyburn Soccer Association
  • Whitewood Soccer Association
