Sask Sport Inc. Calls for Feedback on the Development of an Ombuds Program in SK

 
The Sport Dispute Resolution Center of Canada and Sask Sport have asked for the Saskatchewan Soccer Association's cooperation in circulating the following survey opportunity.  Please feel to also circulate this to your own membership networks.  The survey will be closed on June 24, 2016. 

 
Survey for an Ombuds Program for sport in Canada
 
Dear sport colleagues and friends,
 
As you may have heard or read, the idea of creating an Ombuds Program for the Canadian sport community has been recently revived by the SDRCC.  A working committee was appointed by its Board of Directors to "engage in a consultative process to clarify needs and expectations of the sport community with regards to an eventual Ombuds Program, to formulate recommendations pertaining to the scope of service of an Ombuds Program and to evaluate the resources required to establish such program."
 
The following online survey was developed by that committee with the intent of reaching as many members as possible in the sport community (including athletes, coaches, volunteers, parents, officials and staff members), and obtain their input into what an Ombuds Program for sport could look like in our country.  We invite you to circulate this survey to as many people as you can among your staff, membership and affiliates as well as to promote it through your website and social media. The survey will be closed on June 24, 2016.
