David Jenkins (1941-2016)

Recognized as a Saskatchewan Soccer Association Honorary Life Member and David Newsham Award recipient, David committed over 30 years to the growth of soccer in the province through his volunteerism and involvement with local and SSA programs.
He was an avid coach for the SSA All-Star Teams, as well as the Canada Games, Saskatchewan Games, North American Indigenous Games, and the First Nations Summer Games. He was also a large contributor to the facilitation of SSA Courses and Camps.
As an avid player, coach, manager and mentor, his passion for the sport and the players, coaches and volunteers touched by it can be seen and felt at every corner of the province.
