2015 Club Nationals Results – Teams from Saskatchewan

Teams from all over the prairies ventured from coast to coast to represent their clubs at the 2015 Canada Soccer Association Sport Chek National Club Championships last week. Below are the team results:
Under 14 Boys – Lakewood Atletico
Finished 2nd in Group A in Qualification Phase, with a 1-0-1 record
Lost to Quebec, beat NL, and lost to Manitoba in the Seeding Phase
Finished sixth overall, with a tournament record of 2-0-3
Top scorer was Albert Kang with 2 goals in 4 games

Under 14 Girls – FC Regina
Finished 3rd in Group B, with losses against NL and Alberta in Qualification Phase
Went 1-0-2 in Seeding Phase
Finished 11th overall, with a 1-0-4 tournament record
Top scorer was Ashton Erickson, with 3 goals in 5 games

Under 16 Boys – QC United
Finished 4th in Group B, with 2 ties and 2 losses in Qualification Phase
Beat NL 3-2 in Seeding round
Finished seventh overall in the tournament with a record of 1-2-2 for the week

Tough loss to Quebec, 3-1 win over NL and 4-0 loss to Nova Scotia in Seeding round
Finished sixth overall, with 2-0-3 record for the tournament
Payton Izsak, Emma Manson, and Hallie Odnokon were the scorers for the team with 2 goals each in 5 games

Challenge Trophy – Senior Men’s – HUSA Alumni FC
Finished 2nd in Group C with 1-0-1 record in Qualification Phase
Close loss to Alberta, shutout win over Quebec, and win over NL in seeding phase
Fifth overall finish in the tournament, with a 3-0-2 record
Nathan Reis was awarded the Top Goal Scorer award with 4 goals

Jubilee Trophy – Senior Women’s – Hollandia Impact Saskatoon

Canadian Soccer Association National Championships
The Canadian Soccer Association Sport Chek National Club Championships ran from 7-12 October. Through 8 competitions in four venues, the National Championships welcomed more than 2,700 players, staff and officials in October. The National Championships are Canada's premier amateur competitions, from the senior level Challenge Trophy and Jubilee Trophy competitions down to the U-14 youth levels.
