​2015-16 Expression of Interest - SSA Committees and Advisory Groups

The role of each committee is to provide advice to the Board or Staff to improve our effectiveness to manage the affairs of the Association. Volunteers on committees and advisory groups provide expertise to support achievement of the strategic goals of the Association.
 
Board Appointed

The Board’s primary role is to govern, provide leadership and direction for the Association in pursuit of the Mission.   The Board is looking for volunteers with expertise to serve on the following Board Committees:

• Governance Committee
• Risk Management Committee
• Audit and Finance Committee
• Strategic Planning Committee
• Nominations Committee

 
Staff Appointed Committees and Advisory Groups
 
SSA Management and Staffs primary role is to provide leadership to all operational aspects of the Association in pursuit of the Mission.  SSA Management is looking for volunteers with expertise to serve on the following Staff Appointed Advisory Groups and Committees:

• Expert Based:
  • Technical Committee
  • Referee Development Committee
• Competitions Committee
• Player Status Committee
• Resource Group for Formal Complaints and Appeals
• Funds Development Advisory Group
• Membership Assistance Program Advisory Group (MAPAG)
