U of S Huskies - Men's Team Final Four Update

The U of S Men won 2-0 against University of Victoria in the Can West Semi Final. It was a hard fought game by both teams, but the U of S came out on top. The star of the match was a tie between Garrett Peters and Michal Bandula. Peters scored both goals for the Huskies and Bandula's strong goaltending skills clinched their CIS Nationals spot. Bandula says "it's the first time we've played a full 90 minutes, we capitalized on our chances and hopefully we can go to nationals again and this time get a medal". Coach Bryce Chapmen was also very happy about the team's performance "the conditions weren't great but we played as a team".
 
The University of Alberta won this morning 3-0 against UBC. UBC play tomorrow morning against University of Victoria at 11:30 am, while the Huskies play against University of Alberta in the gold medal game at 2:00 pm.
