U of S Huskies Advance to Final Four

Best of luck to both the U of S Huskies Men's and Women's soccer teams as they compete in the Canada West Final Four this weekend!
On October 26th, The U of S Men’s Huskies won 5-1 against the University of Winnipeg. With this win they have secured the spot in and will be hosting the CANWEST Final Four in Saskatoon on October 31 and November 1. The four teams attending are Victoria Vikes, UBC Thunderbirds, Alberta Golden Bears, and the Saskatchewan Huskies.
The Huskies first match is on Friday October 31st at 2:00pm at Griffith Stadium against the Victoria Vikes who were 2nd in the Pacific Division. The top two finalists will travel to Toronto for the CIS National Championship from November 6-9, 2014.
The U of S Women’s Huskies won their first ever playoff game last week 2-1 against MacEwan University, and have advanced to the Final Four Stage.
They will play Trinity Western University Spartans on October 31st at 5:00pm at TWU. Also in the final four are The Alberta Golden Bears and Fraser Valley Cascades. The 1st and 2nd place teams advance to CIS Nationals in Quebec, QC November 6-9, 2014.
