Olimpia SK FC Crowned Champs at Futsal Provincial Championships

Three teams from Saskatoon, Yorkton and Lloydminster met on the hard court this weekend in Saskatoon for their chance to rep Saskatchewan at the upcoming Canada Soccer Futsal National Championships in April.
Saskatoon's Olimpia SK FC and Yorkton United FC were the first to face off in the three game round robin tournament. Olimpia would win decisively with a 9-2 victory over Yorkton.
LRUSP from Lloydminster would take the 'W' over Yorkton in their Saturday afternoon match, ending in an 8-2 final score.
Olimpia would prove to been in control over LRUSP in their match on Saturday evening. They dominated over the Lloydminster team and sealed their ticket to Nationals with a solid 7-1 victory.
This is the 3rd time Olimpia SK FC will represent Saskacthewan at the upcoming 2019 Canada Soccer National Futsal Championships in Kingston, ON from April 11 -14, 2019. The team has medalled in their last two appearances - earning the national bronze medal in both 2017 and 2018.
