Team Entry Information:
Entry Forms be submitted electronically. The associated entry fee of $600/team must be submitted to your local Member Organization. Member Organizations will forward all fees for their teams to SSA in advance of the Entry Deadline.
Late entries will not be accepted.
 
Roster Information: 
Initial rosters will be submitted at the time of team entry. Once teams are accepted, team contacts will receive login information and the ability to edit their roster. Accepted teams will be able to edit their roster until the final roster deadline.

Rosters must include the Coaches' NCCP Numbers and RIS Numbers. Rosters submitted without this information will be considered incomplete and will not be accepted.     

Each team may have a roster of up to 16 registered players who shall be eligible for participation in the Soccer for Life 6-aside Indoor Youth Championships. ​A minimum of 6 players are required. 

Guest Player or Call Ups:
  • For the sake of Provincial Championships, a Guest Player shall be defined as any player not registered (within his/her Member Organization) with the team with whom they are wishing to compete with in the Provincial Championship.
  • For the sake of Provincial Championships, a Call up Player shall be defined as the addition to the roster for a Provincial Championship of a registered player from a lower division or younger age category within a Club/Zone/Member Organization.
  • Guest/Call-up Players must have written approval prior to the roster submission. The team is responsible to obtain the approval from the player and the Member Organization. The team must be able to provide the written approval if requested by the SSA. Guest Players will not be considered eligible without prior approval from their respective Member Organizations.
  • As indicated in SSA Policy Section Nine, Article 1.11.2g and 1.11.3f, teams participating in small-sided Provincial Championships (i.e. 6-aside) may include up to a maximum of 3 guest and/or call-up players in total on their roster. Teams may include any combination of guest and call-up players but may not exceed 3 in total between both classifications of player.
  • Your roster will be reviewed by both the SSA and your local Member Organization prior to final approval. 
Head Coach and Team Personnel:
All teams participating in the Soccer for Life 6-aside Indoor Youth Championships must declare at least one head coach.
  • Coaching Staff are defined as those individuals in the positions of Head Coach, Assistant Coach or Apprentice/Developmental Coach and will typically include all individuals providing technical and tactical guidance to players during game situations.
  •  Team Personnel includes any individual eligible to appear on a game sheet and be on the bench that is not a member of the Coaching Staff (e.g. Manager, Assistant Manager, Trainer, Therapist, Gender Representative, etc.)
  • A minimum of one head coach with the required certification must be on the bench for all games. 
  • A minimum of one member of the Coaching Staff must be of the same gender as the players for participation in the Soccer for Life Indoor Youth Provincial Championships. 
  • A minimum of one coach of the same gender as the players must be on the bench for all games. 
  • Two members of the Coaching Staff or Team Personnel on the bench must be of the same gender as the players in order to ensure the maintenance of a gender representative on the bench in the event that a player is injured or dismissed and required to leave the playing field.
  • Teams participating in the Soccer for Life Indoor Youth Championships may declare a maximum of two Team Personnel.
 
Coaching Certification:
  • All members of the Coaching Staff (Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Apprentice/Developmental Coaches) must have completed at minimum the CSA Soccer for Life Coaching Course and NCCP Making Ethical Decisions (MED) Module including the Making Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation – Competition Introduction.
  • All members of the Coaching Staff must have completed the NCCP eLearning module Making Headway – Soccer.

Coaching Staff and Team Personnel Training:
All Coaching Staff and Team Personnel must have completed Respect in Sport training in accordance with the Policies of the SSA.

Important Items:
No team bonds are required by the SSA; however, MO may ask individual teams/clubs to submit a bond for their team. If a team forfeits, withdraws or defaults, the SSA will invoice the MO for the amount of the fine as outlined in the Rulebook.
As outlined in the SSA Policies and Procedures governing Provincial Championships, all teams must have a representative in attendance at the Pre-Competition Meeting. Failure to attend will result in a fine of $200.00.

Schedules will be released in timely manner and posted on the SSA website www.sasksoccer.com under Competitions- Provincial Schedules.
